I asked why it wasn’t $12.99, they said they’d fix it and I gave them my card. When the receipt came back, I didn’t have my itemized receipt. I asked for it, and they discounted it down to $15. I asked them why it was $12.99 and they said it was because of tax, when I told them I added up the pre-tax amount what she said didn’t make sense, she got upset saying that she didn’t put the order in until after 2:30. Which is either not true, or they purposely waited to put the order in late to avoid the deal. I even said “dont worry about the extra $2-3, I’m not hurting for it” but I wanted to voice my frustration about it telling the server and I’m assuming manager on duty that the itemized receipt should have been brought to me especially after an error, before I even got the words out of my mouth, the manager slapped $2 on the counter aggressively to give me “out of her tip money”. I wanted to treat myself to some good food and service by going here as I never go out. I waited tables for 4 years, I’ve never seen someone or had someone act so unprofessionally due to an error on the restaurants end. The poor server just looked upset. Oh, and I did tip over 20%. You need to speak with your employees because honestly I’m hard pressed to even come back after the way I was treated after I told them I don’t even need a refund I just wanted to let them know why I was frustrated.
Sushi was average, hibachi dishes, crab rangoons were great. Service was
Awesome across the board. Me and my coworkers went and had a blast. We'll definitely be back.
Love their Cali Roll, Pink Lady Roll, Lobster Roll, Steak Fried Rice...It's all good.
This sushi/hibachi restaurant is a good, downhome, casual place. I enjoy it as Morgan City doesn't have any other experience nearby unless you go to Houma/Thibodaux 30 minutes away. With that being said, their sushi is close to being up there. However, their downfall is, that the hibachi isn't cooked as a show like other hibachi grills. It is done on a grill, however there are no personal hibachi chefs cooking in front of you. For a sushi fix, without going out of town, this is the place to go. If you're wanting a hibachi chef experience, you'll have to go out of town for that experience. Overall, good place besides that hill. Pictured is a Volcano Roll, enjoy ?
