Hanami Sushi - Morgan Hill

The rolls were delicious, and the teriyaki chicken and California roll combo was enjoyable as well. The server was friendly and provided helpful information about the menu.

This used to be our favorite sushi restaurant, but our experience last Friday evening was disappointing. The restaurant recently changed ownership, and while it was good at first, the quality has declined. The sushi roll portions are now much smaller, and the timing of food delivery was poor—some of us received our orders quickly, while others had to wait a long time, resulting in us not eating together. It seems others have noticed the decline as well; despite it being a Friday night, the restaurant was nearly empty, and we didn't see any take-out orders being filled. We won't be returning until we hear that improvements have been made. It's a shame because this place used to be our favorite.

Make sure to try the spicy tuna and the hand rolls. The sesame balls are a great choice if you're looking for a dessert that's not overly sweet. This is my favorite sushi spot. My friends tend to prefer one of the other restaurants in the area, but I believe that Hanami offers better food quality and flavor.
