El Mexicano - Morganfield

Javier is an amazing owner! Such a nice guy. Waitresses are always kind. Food always comes out super quick! Will ALWAYS recommend El Mexicano over others in the county! Have been eating there since I was little and have eaten there almost every weekend since Javier took over!

Tried to go in for dine in, and was ignored by staff.The drop ceiling was sagging from moisture damage and was discolored and looked like it was full of mold, right over the dining area.Didn’t even bother with the food if the dining room looked that

While visiting family in Henderson, we went here for lunch and it was delicious!!! We ordered paella, chimichangas, quesadillas, guacamole and a burrito. EVERYTHING was fresh, hot and tasty. Before we head back to Chicago we are placing another order to take with us. Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to tomatoes and don’t like lots of bell peppers and El Mexicano were able to make it just the way I wanted it. Kid-friendliness: The children there were having a great time enjoying their food and the colorful atmosphere. The servers go above and beyond and check on you often.

The food was delicious and we received it quickly. Can't hardly beat this restaurant!
