Apple Annie's - Morgantown

I have no intentions of going back here for their dinner foods. I went over a year ago and got ice cold fried chicken. The manager refused to bring me something hot or remove it from my bill and I should have stayed away after that. I tried giving them another chance. I order steak tips over rice. There wasn't much steak there and it was terribly bland. My grandmother had a small spaghetti. It had one meatball and as much sauce as pasta. It was closer to soup than spaghetti. Very good chicken fried chicken! Everyone at the restaurant was super friendly!

Apple Annie's was highly recommended by co-workers, so I was excited to try it out. The breakfast menu is pretty limited, and when my order arrived it was bland and cold. The waite staff was indifferent and made jokes that it must be “one top weekday.” On the plus side, the prices are reasonable.

Apple Annie's was a spur of the moment stop on a road trip. The food and atmosphere was fantastic. The waitress and dessert were out of this world. Annie's is definitely worth a stop and if you do, you have to get at least one chocolate chip cookie. Our waitress recommended the cookie after telling us it had won the state championship last week. I wish we had gotten more than one but we had already driven away. Will definitely stop if we are in the area again. P.S. — Do you ship cookies?

If you looking for a home cooked meal and that comfort feeling of being at Grandma's house. Apple Annie's is for you! Welcoming staff and great food. Restaurant and bathroom are clean. The bakery is phenomenal. Lots of choices and very fresh! We always go for dessert and a coffee before supper. The meal portions are hearty and I typically have to take some home. Great place!!
