Montmartre - Morgantown

Wow, just wow! This bistro on the top floor of the Hotel Morgan in downtown Morgantown is stunning, and the food is amazing. My wife and I visited on Tuesday night, and we absolutely loved it! If you order any type of steak, you’ll feel like you’re in heaven. Plus, the view from the rooftop deck is spectacular. I highly recommend it!

We celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary at this restaurant, where we also held our wedding reception, and I’m happy to say that the food is just as fantastic now as it was back then! The calamari was cooked to perfection, all the salad dressings we tried were absolutely delicious, the green beans were simply outstanding, and the house-made peanut butter pie was the perfect way to conclude a wonderful meal! It was one of the best dining experiences we've had in quite some time, and all at a reasonable price.

The presentation of the food was exceptional, and it tasted amazing too. Our waiter seemed to be new, as it took a long time for our meals to be served, even though we were the only customers in the restaurant. However, the chef was very professional and quickly took action when he saw that my steak was overcooked; he insisted on replacing the entire dish. To make up for the mistake, he also offered us a complimentary dessert. I was truly impressed by their commitment to customer satisfaction.

This is one of the top dining spots in Morgantown, and it's surprisingly affordable. The food was delicious—my steak was slightly overcooked for a Medium Rare, but it still tasted great. The rooftop seating offered a lovely view, and the decor with lights and potted flowers was charming. The staff were friendly and attentive as well!

This fine dining establishment had been a beloved fixture in Morgantown for nearly 40 years, and I am truly saddened by its recent closure just a few weeks ago. The food was absolutely exquisite, and the ambience was perfect. Situated atop the Hotel Morgan on High Street, it featured a stunning rooftop garden deck. Now, it is only available for private parties and events. I sincerely hope the owner reconsiders and decides to reopen the restaurant to the public.
