The prices are very fair for the portions that you get. Everything is always so delicious. I bring all my guests here and they always love it too. It is very authentic. Their buffet is perfect for when you want to try the different foods and is never dirty or unappetizing.
This is only about their buffets. I've never ordered anything off the menu. I learned to love Indian food when I lived in Boston. This restaurant was a disappointment. I've mostly only eaten at their lunch buffet. This buffet never includes saag paneer, something that I really love and which is offered at virtually every other Indian buffet I've visited and I've visited dozens. They also never offer samosas or pakora on the buffet. Worst of all, the chicken tends to be over-cooked, dry and tasteless. And chicken is the only meat offered on the buffet. It's a real shame since all the rest of the sauces and dishes are first rate. And they offer garlic naan which is a fairly uncommon thing and a real treat. I'd eat there every week but I just can't get over the tasteless chicken. They do offer saag on their dinner buffet which I've visited only a couple times. I can't recall if it was saag paneer or saag aloo. Paneer is obviously preferable to aloo. They do offer tasty pakora on the dinner buffet as well. The big drawback here is that the dinner buffet is 40% more expensive, $14 instead of $10.
We are vegan, and Mother India was so accommodating. We ordered from the menu, selected our spice level everything was truly amazing. They even adjusted the vegetarian appetizer platter to be all vegan. The servers were kind and gracious. Definitely an excellent choice for vegetarians and vegans.
I was wishing for the buffet, but not offered on Saturday's. So with my daughter's help I got a meal I enjoyed, just wish there were more vegtables in it. All and all the food was real good. I would go back again.
Good food, run by a good family. If you're not familiar with Indian, start out with Chicken Tikka Masala or Malai Kofta for vegetarians. Get some naan and pakoras or somosas. Buffet is always well stocked and tasty, and finsh off with some nutty ice cream.
