Matahachi - Morioka

A friend and I stopped by this izakaya after a long day. The staff was excellent and the food was delicious. I had the nozawana and maitake tempura, both of which were fantastic. However, my favorite was definitely the maitake. I can't wait to visit again next time I'm in Morioka. Thank you! Also, make sure to check out the unique design in the bathroom. I went to the all-you-can-eat crab event in January, as I do every year. There have been various opinions about the service of the restaurant staff, but personally, I think it was good! Thank you to the waiter who ran outside to deliver the item I forgot on the way home!
