Best Goan that you will get this side of Chapora. The grills and the tandoori is also amazing. It is open through the year with great seafood. Ask them for the daily catch!
I am regular visitor to Goa, like many others. The only thing that I do differently 'satisfy my taste buds by visiting this place every single time '. This place over the years, has become an indispensable item on our to dos in Goa, irrespective of where we are put up Baga, Anjuna, Arombol and the likes. If you happen to be staying in Baga or Anjuna, the ride/drive till this place is amazing and after that the lip smacking food here is simply rejuvenating. Cheese Pakora, Fried Rice and Dal are some of my personal favorties, but I bet every dish on their menu is worth trying. The quantity is enough to leave one feeling full and satisfied and along with that, the pricing is reasonable here in comparison to many other famous places in Goa and for all these reasons, this place rightly deserves to be listed under the Hidden Gems section in Zomato. Though the place lacks in ambiance, but then again its an open air restaurant far away from the hustle bustle of Baga/Calangute and I think that is the best way to enjoy and relax while in Goa! <br/ <br/ Do drop in, on your next visit to Goa! :D
Found this place on Hidden Gems section on Zomato at Anjuna beach. Filling food for 6, nonveg as well as veg, for just 1200 buks. And that too during January. A life saver in times of crunch, when in Goa. Do I need to say more ?! This place is a km or two prior to morjim beach, north of goa. <br/ <br/ Quantity 3.5/5<br/ Quality 3/5<br/ Ambience 2/5<br/ Service 3.5/5
A must try for really good goan food if you are near Arambol/Ashvem.<br/ <br/ It was the first day of this Resto after the off season. We didn 't know this. Yet without ice or a bar menu available, we dared to check out the rest of this place. We saw a 'trip advisor ' sticker on one table here and assumed that it must be decent resto because we had also got recommendations from a couple of locals for this place about serving good goan food.<br/ <br/ Kingfish Rawa Fry(surmai) Delicious. Thin slices of the fish. Less quantity for the price we pay for this dish.<br/ <br/ Prawns Rawa Fry Delicious. Big Prawns.<br/ <br/ Chicken Barbeque Barbeque sauce poured all over the chicken chicken pieces which had a crispy coating. Nice taste.<br/ <br/ Steamed rice with Prawns Curry/Fish Curry (fish of your choice We had kingfish a.k.a. surmai) Goan Prawns Curry. Heavenly. Delicious curry.<br/ <br/ Service not slow at all. Very courteous staff. Specially the manager. <br/ <br/ Ambience can be improved. This will invite a crowd which might be willing to pay more.<br/ Decent rates as well.<br/ <br/ Wish 'Laxmi ' all the best for the coming season. Hope you keep serving fantastically such brilliant food forever! Cheers! <br/ <br/ I will add photos tomorrow. <br/ <br/
