New Centennial Dining Lounge

Great, simple food. Good service!? Wide variety on the menu.

A friend of mine recommended this place to me.Ordered the Centennial pizza, looked really delicious. Toppings were warm, and dough was not cooked. The crust on the outside of the pizza was the only thing cooked. I let the waitress know that it was not cooked. They offered to put the pizza back in to finish cooking, unforthnately I did not have the time to wait. I had an appointment that would not give me the time required to finish cooking the pizza. I asked to see if there was something that could be done on the bill, and I would finish cooking it at home. The waitress said she would go see what she could do. They said no. I asked why it was because they didn 't do anything like that. I did not agree with that decision, so she asked the cook to come talk to me. They tried to say it was soggy because of the sauce. I showed her how the crust was uncooked dough. She offered to put it back in the oven to finish cooking it. I again said I was unable to wait as I needed to be somewhere, and I didn 't have the time to wait. She said she would bring me a box so I could take it home with me. Cook went back in the kitchen, and the waitress came back. I asked her if there was something going to be done about the bill. She again said no. I found out the cook was actually the owner. Requested for the owner to come speak with me again. Waitress went back to the kitchen. When she came back, she told me the owner was too busy to come talk to me. I replied with, Well, if she is too busy to come talk to me, then I am too busy to pay for this pizza. The tea I drank was paid for, but I did not pay for the pizza. Left the remaining 3 slices of a small pizza on the table and walked out. They didn 't even ask me what I was asking for. I would have been happy with even a $5 discount on the $19.95 pizza.I will say that if the pizza was fully cooked, the pizza would have been really good. I 'm not a fan of the owner and her lack of service.My friend who ordered a pepperoni and cheese pizza was fully cooked, with no issues with her pizza at all.

Usually wouldn’t bother writing a review to complain, but was completely unsatisfied with everything that was ordered for our family of 4 the only thing that was fully consumed was a small pizza. Simply don’t recommend.

Server just seemed like she was in a bad mood the entire time. Food was mediocre. No water, only bottled water.

So sad, this restaurant used to be so good, We would go to this restaurant after taking in a show at Upper Canada Playhouse. Our most recent visit was this past weekend and we were 3 couples. Prices have increased but that has happened at all restaurants and expected. What is not expected: you now have to pay for water; the soup included with the special is Beef barley which is now beef broth with a handful of barley- no beef pieces; the desert we had was rice pudding- it was watered down so much you could drink it; now if this isn't bad enough- you are charged $3.00 if you use a credit card to pay. Our regular group of 3 couples are now never going to this restaurant again.
