Ming Ii - Morristown

This restaurant provided a satisfactory experience overall. We sampled the drums of heaven, shrimp green curry, and chicken chili. While the food was generally tasty, the green curry fell short of expectations and was not prepared as we had anticipated. We were ready to give it a 4-star rating, but due to some service issues, we ultimately settled on a 3. For example, when one of our friends ordered a Sangria, the server confused it with a whiskey drink. Additionally, a nearby family inadvertently left their credit card with their child while they went to the restroom, and it seemed the staff expected the child to handle it, creating an awkward situation for him.

I really enjoyed the duck tacos appetizer. The setting and ambiance were lovely as well.

I am a gujarati and our food is typically sweet, but this food is too sweet for me as well. We go to the Ming in Edison and Morristown often and like the food, but today’s food just did not cut it. Hope this is a one time thing and the next time we are here we enjoy the food. I will give the restaurant a one more try, but if the food is sweet again the next time, I will never go again. Also the baby corn starter was not fried well and not crunchy and just okay.

Last night, a bunch of us enjoyed the delicious veg dishes at Ming one of the best indo chinese restaurants in this area!

Coriander soup is always delicious. Ribs are horrible. The whole fish is on point. Fried rice is always good. Overall I really like this place. A few menu items I've learned to stay away from. Honestly I can't get enough of their coriander soup, it's soo good.
