On a positive note, the homemade chips were excellent, particularly the guacamole and chip appetizer. The meals were decent, though the presentation left something to be desired—brown meat and tan chips, along with tan cornbread on brown paper, didn't look very appetizing. Maybe they could consider adding a pickle on the side? A change to white paper or a red and white checkered pattern could also enhance the experience. Overall, it was a satisfactory meal and likely the best barbecue in this area, but there is definitely room for improvement.

I had a great meal with friendly service. The brisket is consistently delicious, although they occasionally run out. The prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to come back.

This restaurant is BYO, so don't forget to bring your beer to enjoy with the BBQ. The food was excellent. The atmosphere has a classic family restaurant vibe, but it was surprisingly empty at 7:30 on a Saturday night.

We had a reservation of 6:30 and they already ran out of the fact that one of our party had anticipated. we asked for a carolina grill sauce for our pulled pork and got a very watery, vinegary sauce served. it was very loud (and we were in a quiet opposite) our server was overworked and undoubtedly overwhelmed - we had to ask three times for water for the table before we got it. the homemade chips are excellent, especially the guacamole and chip removers. the grinding times were good, although brown meat and tannenchips and tannenkorn on brown paper are not the most deceptive. can I add a pickle or white paper? or red and white checked? a satisfactory meal and probably the best bbq in this special area, but could be improved.
