Service is a bit slow and passive, so make sure to come here when you're not in a rush. The All You Can Eat sushi is incredible we come here for a long, leisurely lunch and have never been disappointed. Definitely give the spicy tuna on top of crispy rice a try.. I haven't found this any where on the East Coast and it was one of my favorites while I was living in LA.
Super good, fresh sushi and they had an All You Can Eat special for 28.95. What a bargain. Service was good. BYOB. No liquor license. Parking is tough. Try the municipal lot nearby, or behind the Courthouse. 25 cent Meters, but they take credit cards at the meters.NOTE: This resturant is on the 2nd floor up a long flight of stairs. If you dont think you can walk them, this place is not for you. BTW: pay cash, get a discount. Try this one if you love sushi!Vegetarian options: Gluten free options.Parking: Tough
We ordered for takeout and pickup up at 215. They close between lunch and dinner and were leaving at 230. We colud feel the doors closing as we left. Here 's what we got: Eel Avocado roll. The Avocado was not ripe and crunched when you bit into it. The eel was cooked but was clearly not cooked any time recently. Eel cucumber roll: the cucumber grossly overpowered the fish and this is eel were talking about, with a strong flavor of its own. There may have been no fish at all in some if the bites. Rainbow roll: ok but fish was sliced paper thin (they run an all you can eat special so they 're used to paper thin slivers of fish too much rice, but why should the customers paying full price have to be cheated the same way? Lunch special (8 pieces of sushi a tuna roll. They 're forgot the sushi!! By the time we noticed, we were at home they were closed toll dinner. The tuna roll was only ok. Here 's the overall problem: They shorted on the fish and over compensated on veg rice. The rice was dry and had clearly been made for the lunch crowd (2 1/2 hrs earlier and I use the term crowd loosely! The fish was not fresh. But the real kicker is they shorted on soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger. That 's the 'going out of business ' sign. If they have to short their customers on the condiments to save money, that 's a sign of imminent doom! There are plenty of good sushi places in Morristown, in the area, in the county. Skip this one.
An eater MUST understand how to value a restaurant!! If you think you are entitled to being served in 5 minutes you shouldn't even be allowed to rate lol This place was absolutely amazing in taste and quality !! An all you can eat menu and regular menu option... just simply amazing!! The person two tables down that left because they took longer than 5 minutes to served them and missed out on a meal that I would wait an hour outside to come eat!! No words just deliciously made meals!! Worth the wait of a table being available!!! Any day!! 5 Stars
Honestly speaking, the food was fine but the service ruined it. Our waitress was nice but she was the only one there for the entire restaurant. We came on a Sunday at 6 so you would expect more people working. The thing is it was not even busy, there was a total of 3 tables… We were left continuously asking for the same things over and over again water, plates, the essentials). We came for the all you can eat and half of the things we ordered just never came. The upstairs atmosphere was nice but there was no music or anything like that. Feel bad for the waitress most of all, but the management needs to better prepare for the demand if you want a successful restaurant. Will not be coming back. :
