Interior is a bit tired, but the food is excellent, traditional fish and chips and nice meals of grilled fish and salad. The whiting is great when it's on.
Best seafood cafe that i 've ever been to! Yes this is a big call. My favourite used to be Hunky Dory in Port Melbourne but Kiah has taken over!<br/ <br/ On the way driving back to Sydney we decided to make a stop at Moruya and I picked Kiah Seafood cafe after looking at other reviews.<br/ <br/ This place did not disappoint me at all! Looking from the outside it looked like an ordinary fish n chips shop i wasn 't expecting too much. As soon as we step in we saw the chef dressed up in proper chef 's gear, and then the menu says 'fresh fish from Eden '.<br/ <br/ We tried the Pan Fried Blue Grenadier with salad and chips $17) and the beer battered fish and chips $15).<br/ <br/ Both dishes were very well presented as if you are going to a proper restaurant, servings are big and the fish were cooked so well, tasted so soft and fresh.<br/ <br/ Will definitely come again!
OK so it isn't the most appealing. From the outside (sorry guys) but the food and the absolute CLEANLINESS of this place is second to none. The attention to detail goes right into the food served and the staff attdntiveness. The piped music was a little OTT (not an opera buff) but the food was incredibly fresh, flavour some and bountiful! Thanks Kiah. Wish we found you at the start of our Moruya stay!!
Pan fried blue grenadier with Greek salad was divine. Fresh and tasty. Serving was very generous and meal arrived speedily. Very impressed.
