Had a fantastic Saturday night here. Live music, great crowd. BUT the bar staff ripped us off repeatedly, taking high value notes and then giving incorrect or no change. Presumably relying on people, especially foreigners, to be too drunk to notice it. Questioned it a couple of times but you have no real comeback against bar staff who shrug and deny all knowledge of taking more money than they needed. Disappointing because otherwise it was exceptionally good fun.
Not a bad music club, but having 5 stars is too much for them. The sound is solid, but due to acoustical difficulties there are many unwanted reflections. Jazz is an excellent choice for them seeing that there is room for experiments and freedom; anyway, judging by well-known standards the sound reinforcement engineer should use equalization in a more intelligent way to have a better result.
Cosy and packed venue. Sometimes good music. About food it is not why you came here could be better.
