A modest little shop, but the food is prepared with great attention to detail. The catfish sandwich is incredible!

"I recently enjoyed some of the best BBQ I've had in a while! I ordered takeout, and I was very pleased with the experience. The price per person was quite affordable, ranging from $1 to $10. The food was exceptional, earning a rating of 5 out of 5, and the service was equally impressive, also rated 5 out of 5. The atmosphere, even for takeout, was inviting and received a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the Pulled Pork Sandwich—it's a must!"

What happened? We placed a takeout order and received it without any meat. We drove all the way back to address the issue, only to end up with a plate that was mostly fat and gristle, along with squashed waffles and spoiled greens. This was extremely disappointing for a meal that cost over $50. (This review is for Wolf River BBQ on Wolf River at Houston Levee.)
