There is a parking directly on the highway, although a bit scary to come when you go north. It had terrace seats that were removed. A phenomenal view of the bay with the occasional sea lions and otter floating through the terrace hanging over the water. All foods were against order and had a limited menu. The staff was very friendly. I had a salad with shrimps and a Clam Chowder. The shrimps were quite large and delicious. It came with a decent part of the salad and had to dress on the side. The Clam Chowder was excellent. I want to check this place after the pandemic to see if they also have a complete menu. Really nice place to go after a nice hike in the Elkhorn Slough Reserve.
First of all, the view... as we ate, we were handed over by a harbour seal and two sea otters and if you can believe it, the food was even better! All we ate was fresh and local, and considering that you can see both the sea and the farms of your seats, this should not be a surprise. But seriously, the food is served HIGH quality and skillfully prepared and tasted as if it were just line caught from the terrace. The green salad was also delicious! Absolutely one of our favorites in the bay and certainly our favorite Moss Landing seafood restaurant!
Very nice new place. Everybody's super friendly. Not a huge menu, but enough choices where everyone in a group should find something. The food was delicious and cheap. I had the fish tacos that gave me the opportunity to sample four different fish. Everything was fresh, delicious and well prepared. The Coleslaw was just the best restaurant Coleslaw I ever had. If you eat on the terrace overlooking the Moss Landing Harbor, you will be prepared for fast changing temperatures.
Location that cannot be beaten much more beautiful than Phil’s! Watch the otters and sea lions in French while you are on affordable, perfectly cooked fresh fish chips... Add in a good and cheap beer list, you have the recipe for a perfect day in the water.
Super good. It has an excellent view of the harbor, and the food is great. The $15 price tag is well worth it. The fish and chips is large and fried nicely, and the calamari sandwich is filling and delicious. Oh, and there was a ton of wildlife. Seals were splashing in the harbor, and an otter was bobbing right by the dock where we were eating, grabbing clams and shells.
