Contribuisci feedbackMe and my husband had dinner at this restaurant on January 2015 . the service was excellent and food was great and tasty! it was very classic and elegant and we enjoyed it. there are not much restaurants in this area so its great solution if you stay at the convention center hotel
I had dinner at restaurant El Gueridon in Hotel Auditorium Madrid (which I reviewed separately) on December 6, 2014. I had attended a medical symposium in the hotel's convention center and did not feel like going all the way to Madrid (20 km away) for dinner and settled on the hotel restaurant (El Gueridon). I found it to be quite pleasant. I was the first there at opening time (8:00 PM) but it quickly got crowded. It is simple in style but modern and tables are well decorated with beige tablecothes and flowers. The staff was very courteous and efficient. I started with a glass of cava (a small bottle in fact). Bread and butter quickly appeared. There was a good list of amazingly cheap spanish wines. Cosy lounge music. A triple mise en bouche was served, tuna with a small potato salad, a delicious mixed soup, and a tripe. As first course, I had croquettes of ham and king prawn (four of each) with small crisp noodles, delicious. As main course, a club ranero cod (bacalao) with a ratatouille. As usual in Spain I found the cod a bit too salty for my taste but the consistency was perfect. With this a half bottle of a decent white Vina Sol Torres. I did not need dessert afterwards. All in all a satisfying meal for 56,51 euros.
The menu offered a good variety of contemporary meat, fish and vegetable dishes a nice break from traditional, heavy Spanish fare. Moroccan style chicken with couscous was very good. Cod dish was also very tasty. Business breakfast buffet offered a good variety of continental and American choices.
La comida estaba muy muy rica, hemos comido las croquetas para empezar, con especial mención a la de boletus (las demás estaban muy ricas tambien), tartar de atún rojo con aguacate y mango, que el mango le daba un toque genial, los canelones de carrillera, riquísimos y con salsa increíble, y el lomo bajo, que estaba muy rico también, y por último la tarta de queso, que la recomiendo.
Very recommendable. good preparation of dishes, careful presentation and very balanced flavors. attentive and very professional staff. Good atmosphere.
