Onesti's Fast Foods - Motherwell

Located near Dalziel St Andrews Parish Church in Motherwell Town Centre, this fish and chip shop/restaurant offers good quality food at affordable prices. The restaurant is spacious and tends to be quite busy. Takeaway options are available at slightly lower prices, with a wide variety of choices on the menu. Additionally, there is a section dedicated to ice cream and sweets located across from the frying counter. However, this area is not always staffed, and there are occasions when employees must walk over from behind the frying counter.

The food at this restaurant was excellent, but the negative behavior of the staff and management, who were gossiping about other members of the team and calling them weird and strange, completely turned me off from ever returning. It is a shame because the food was really good.

This restaurant is too expensive for what it offers and is overhyped. I attempted to order the fish and chips on multiple occasions, hoping that they just had a bad night. Unfortunately, the quality did not improve. I would recommend steering clear of the neon orange breadcrumb-covered fish.

This is a terribly expensive chip shop! The price does not reflect the portions at all! Staff aren't especially friendly either. One nice thing about this shop is that it does have a sweetie counter with some jars of traditional sweets, and they offer mixups unlike many other stores in the area, this section seems to be reasonably priced, but overall I would not recommend it. Quality is good, but the prices are not!

This The Rex, under same ownership, are the best chip shops in Motherwell. Be prepared to wait for delivery at busy times, but well worth the wait. Helpful friendly staff in both.
