Gio's has always done cracking pizzas and pastas, and still doThere is not much more to it than that.

How disappointing - a "medium rare" steak that was well done, and two luke warm serves of lasagne.

We have eaten here half a dozen times for both dinner and lunch, the food and service is always terrific.

We visited during our wedding anniversary trip to South Australia. We were staying in Hahndorf however all the places to dine closed so early there and we're night owls. So we drove to Mount Barker to eat and Giovanni's. So glad we did. We had some of the best pizza we've ever had! And pizza is our favourite meal. We enjoyed it so much we returned the following night for our final dinner in South Australia.Service was prompt and friendly. It was quiet when we visited but I would imagine the place gets very busy so I would suggest booking ahead.A large pizza was $28 and a small $15. More than we're used to paying for pizza but we'd definitely eat there again despite the price.

We went for dinner on a Saturday night pretty busy so I would recommend booking then, a bit loud as you would expect, but really friendly service from all staff. Entrees , main meals and alters weren't too slow or at all rushed so our experience here was great. Even youngish waitress new which wines to recommend to accompany our meals and her recommendations were spot on! Will return here!
