I would recommend this point thoroughly.
I'm not the kind of person to talk a lot about eating. I have eaten in restaurants all over the world W.A and rarely remember them. eating at windrush wines is a cut above. the menu is limited, but still. good variety. the products are fresh and the chef simply makes amazing things with it. we had a starter, a main and dessert, who was all so delicious. we didn't want to have three courses, but couldn't help us. the team of man and woman relax as soon as they offer wine tasting, good service, a beautiful ambiente and good eating. we were three times and look forward to going back.
During our honeymoon road trip through WA, we stumbled upon Windrush by accident - what a pleasant surprise! As someone with celiac disease, I was thrilled to find out that the kitchen was entirely gluten free. The wine selection was also top-notch. You must visit this place!
Sometimes it’s hard to pick a place to go when you don’t have a lot of time and there are many choices. We are so glad we chose Windrush. They have a small selection of quality wines and John said if he doesn’t like the...wine it doesn’t go on the shelf. If you can’t find one you love you’re not trying. However, the standout was Jan’s food. We both had the shepherds pie because we didn’t want to share. The pear in red wine and almond cake was a cracker and my recommendation. Do yourself a favour and try Windrush.
Superb service, beaut location and food that melts in the mouth...the wine is delish too ! This place is a keeper.. We'll be back
