When we reached the bus to Mt Buller, it started snowing. Kiddos ran crazy and enjoyed the snowfall. After check-in we went to the village square and decide to eat in something is restaurant. No regrets, hands down... F
The fish and chips at this restaurant are extremely expensive, even for a mountain location. The quality of the food does not justify the high prices. The crumbed fish had a strange acidic taste. I would recommend avoiding this place.
The fish and chips were delicious, but a bit pricey. We were all starving before our dog sled adventure and quickly looked for a quick meal. This restaurant's famous fish and chips did not disappoint. No complaints here.
After our first night skiing, we were in need of some quick food to fill up the kids. The fish and chip shop hit the spot. The service was fast and friendly, the prices were reasonable, there was a decent wine selection for the adults, and the meals were filling for the kids. The burger was okay, but make sure to ask for some sauce or ketchup as it only came with mayo. The seafood laksa was delicious.
