Degani - Mount Eliza

We were pleased that degani is open on the boxing day holiday. that was the end of our pleasure, starting with a order of touch with three sides, one of them avocado who saw as if it had originally been spread on the toast. never mind. just scape it out and deliver the avocado in a bowl that was a good idea, like the avocado was terrible green like grass and excessive lemon..so we left it in the bowl!. the other two sides never made it. the coffee was terrible. then, when asked about the pages, there was a total interest in the staff. Need to improve the bases, service and coffee . will not go back. even if they are the only place open

This place is good for a quick snack, but the coffee is not great and the tea is served in a shaky teapot that can spill on the table and clothes. There is not enough staff and the quality of the food can vary depending on who is in the kitchen.

After taking a stroll with a friend along Mt. Eliza Beach, we decided to grab some food from Degani and take it home. Due to restrictions, the selection was limited so we opted for the salmon bagels [$21.80]. We were asked if we wanted them toasted or not, with one of us choosing to have it toasted. We also got two apple and blueberry muffins [$9.80], bringing the total to $31.60, which was a bit pricey. The muffins were indeed fresh, soft, buttery, moist, and packed with fruit, making them worth the money. However, the salmon and cream cheese sandwiches were not as fresh, leading me to suspect that the bagels were frozen. The bagels were hard and difficult to bite into, with my friend having to struggle with hers at home. While they tasted okay, the amount of filling did not match the high price tag of $10.90 per bagel. Overall, it's not my go-to place for food, but it ultimately depends on personal preferences and whether visitors find it worth a visit.

The jelly we got from there was delicious. only my opinion, but the green jelly is best. if you want to find a place to relax and eat, then degani is the place for them.

Our drinks arrived and they were very good. I thought my chai could have been hotter (even though I had requested the cup to be heated), so I take the blame for that. However, the taste was excellent. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the chill vibe of the place. Next time, I think I'll sit out on the terrace. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend this place.
