The meal was definitely worth the wait. The Beef Vindaloo had a nice level of spiciness and the Lamb Madras was very flavorful.
The restaurant offers a great variety of dishes, with a wide selection in a spacious environment. The service is relaxed and friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The walls are decorated with beautiful artwork from local painters. The food is freshly prepared and not your typical standard fare. The spice level is adjusted to cater to the local population, but you can always ask for it to be spicier if you prefer. Overall, it is a good place with great service.
Our party consisted of five people on a weeknight. Was quite busy with people dining in as well as taking away. The waitress had an excellent knowledge of wines on the wine list. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Food was beautiful - I'm wouldn't pick Indian as my first choice but the meals were lovely and you felt full without being uncomfortable. Main meals approx $18 a serve, wine about $8.50 a glass. Will definitely return!
We were passing through Mount Gambier and as a couple of the other reviews have mentioned, it is a little hard to see the sign. We went on a Friday night, the service was great and the food was right up there.
Vistied as a group of 4 in August 2016. Very good service. the restuarant is extremely large which can be a bit strange when there aren't many people in there (we visited mid-week).Food was great, waitress had good suggestions on things to try.Value was very good.
