The margarita pizza, the test for any pizza place (as there is nowhere to hide) is spot on. Up there with some of the best pizza places in Perth, the kids playground outside means its a great place to bring the whole family for lunch or dinner.
This was one of the best g/f pizzas I have ever tasted - we even ate the crusts (you g/f types will know what I mean!). The staff were extremely helpful & friendly, BYO beer ($5 corkage for wine seemed a bit steep) & a lovely place to sit & meet friends outside. Not cheap, but worth it! I'll be back!
I had a pizza craving that needed to be satisfied so I thought I would give Magna a try given other more popular pizza restaurants were closed. The pizzas (Adriano & Tacito) were nice but the quality of the ingredients weren't that great for the price. For example, I could tell that they use canned mushrooms for the Tacito pizza and the toppings were sparse, especially the chorizo on the Adriano pizza. The pizzas satisfied the craving though.
I loved the pizza and the tiramisu. We ordered a vegetarian one and a spicy pizza, both were delicious! Totally recommended, and the alfresco area is perfect for a hot summer day!
A slice of Italy in suburban Perth. The staff have a delightful Italian lilt, the pizza base was thin and crispy and the simplicity of the toppings transported me back to Italian. We had the calzone, which was oozing with filling and cheese and the Imperio, light and tasty. The only thing that's not Italian is the price, but $20 a pizza is standard in Perth. The staff are lovely and the great thing is you can sit in the communal dining area of The Mezz and order a bit from one place and a bit from another. And remember - that's where it is, in the shopping complex, so plenty of of parking. A great family spot for a casual, alfresco dinner.
