Burger Chief - Mount Isa

I have many great memories of Burger Chief from the 1980s onwards. They make amazing burgers and I love their coffee.

The burger menu was impressive until I saw the person taking our order. They appeared very unkempt and unprofessional, wearing old clothes and no shoes. It was clear they were not catering to tourists. I felt disgusted and couldn't bring myself to eat my burger after that. What a disappointment.

The restaurant offers a wide selection of burgers in various sizes, from generous to huge, all topped with delicious toppings. The beef is sourced from Queensland's best producers and the burgers are served with homemade salsa by a friendly Texan. It's worth traveling for miles just to try them.

They are not the cheapest burgers you will have but my gosh are they big and tasty!There are 15 or so burgers to choose from that feature beef, chicken and vegetarian as well as sides such as chips and salads. Highly recommend the chips as they are delicious.Bring your appetite or else share a burger with someone else and if you dare order the huge burger that few people can finish.Whether your a local or a visitor you need to stop in for a meal or a takeaway.
