Carreta Mexican Fast Food

I absolutely love this place for a quick and tasty Mexican meal. The burritos and tacos are outstanding, and I also really enjoy the tamarind drink!

We are from TX but now live in TN. There use to be an amazing burrito place in TX that we have missed terribly. We happened on to this place today with no expectations. Wow! Their burritos were just as good as the ones back home. It's just a small, no frills place but totally authentic. They have homemade tamales too that we pre-ordered for my daughter's birthday. Can not wait to try them. They have breakfast burritos too that we're delicious!It's easy to miss. It's on Lebanon Pike on the right coming from Hermitage, a little before Mt. Juliet Road. Right across from Burger King. It's a hidden gem....trust me!

They serve the best breakfast burritos I've ever had! I just wish I didn't live so far away from this place.

I often stop here for breakfast, including most weekdays and some weekends. I really enjoy the food!

Best Mexican food in the area. Great service and great food. Call in ahead to pick for lunch or breakfast.
