Contribuisci feedbackMust try! The owners passion for their food guests is what you hope to find at every restaurant you visit. Grabbed some lunch on a Thursday was met with the bubbly owner, Katie. Their menu is so unique, it makes it tough to choose just one item. I saw 2 other people order the Quesabirria couldn’t pass it up. It was DELICIOUS. Can’t wait to go back try more!
Let’s start with the positives. The waitress was very nice and the food tasted good. That’s about where the good ended. I don’t know if she was an owner or manager but she was the least accommodating person in the service industry I have ever met. Can’t push tables together because they chose to buy 400# tables. We had a party of 7 and they only had 1 table that hold that many and we didn’t particularly want to split up. It was a different story when we thought there was going to be 10 of us. But parties of 6 or more can’t have separate checks if at one table. But if we were split between 2 tables we could have paid separately. Just didn’t make sense to us and I’ve worked at multiple restaurants. The portion sizes were pretty small for the prices. Two ladies that were sitting next to each other got the same dish. One obviously had more meat on it than the other. The waitress took it back and got a little more added. But then the owner/manager came out and informed us (a little shortly) that the chef wanted us to know that different meats have different amounts of fat but both weighed the same. Fajita steak should have most fat cut off. Why come out and tell us that in that way? Then on top of everything, we were asked 3-4 times to not leave a bad Google review. That was a huge red flag and so we checked out the reviews and see they aren’t great. Why ask a patron to not leave a bad review? You obviously know something isn’t right if you are making that request. I like supporting local but don’t believe I will be returning again.
The best quesabirria I’ve ever had! Chef Memo and his wife, Katie, are truly dedicated to delivering an authentic Mexican dining experience, reminiscent of Chef Memo’s upbringing in Mexico. This isn’t your typical Americanized Mexican food; you can truly savor their passion and expertise in every bite! This has become my new favorite place for Mexican cuisine in central Tennessee!
Excellent food! Excellent Service! This really is the Best Darn Margarita! Street Tacos Shrimp and Flank Steak cooked Perfectly! Guacamole Best I've ever had!
I finally visited this restaurant after hearing amazing reviews from friends, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is fantastic, and our waiter was exceptional, providing insightful details about how some of the dishes were prepared. My husband ordered the mole, which was truly out of this world. I tried several of the street tacos, and they were delicious. The food was cooked to perfection and didn’t need to be smothered in sauce. I was a bit disappointed that they had run out of sangria and churros, but I’ll make sure to arrive earlier next time to sample them! If they sold out, they must be fantastic!
