Josephine's Restaurant at the Briars

This restaurant is a hidden gem. It's a beautiful spot with delicious food, excellent service, and a lovely ambiance, all at a reasonable price. Our dinner experience was delightful, but I can't wait to come back for lunch and soak in the view.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch here, after a boardwalk and then a forest trail at the briars (excellent for the pet and birds viewing), so we worked up an appetit! we were not disappointed as the filled chicken breast and the lamb frame were beautifully cooked and. served with delicious and plentiful vegetables! we had seen others desserts of diner, so we have forced ourselves and have been very pleased. we had great service in a beautiful location and at a good price what's not to love! we also chatted with the owners when we went and gave them to my man a local brewery beer to try at home merry christmas in the did!

Beautiful place, beautiful service. we had a glass of wine, then coffee sitting on the veranda, which looked over the fields and park areas of the Briars property in mt martha. beautiful quiet location and magnificent service of macy and leila.

I recently attended a 60th birthday celebration at this restaurant and I must say, everything from the food to the service was absolutely lovely. The dining room was cozy and relaxing, creating a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. My only small complaint would be that on a rainy day, navigating to the restroom was a bit challenging due to the wet floors, especially for those in a wheelchair like the lady at our table.

Wow!! We booked here for lunch with a group of 14 friends and everything was great until the bill arrived. Food $490 (as expected), Drinks $450.00! Lunchtime and not everyone was drinking alcohol and at least half our guests were driving. Emailed two days...later (6 weeks ago) and asked for a breakdown on the bill but silence. Surely if it could be justified, I would have had a reply by now. Beware if you are planning a function here make sure you get a price per head on drinks as well as food!
