The Coffee Club - MOUNT OMMANEY

Great staff Great menu Great food Great service We went two mornings in a row for breakfast I highly recommend the breaky burger, I added an extra hash brown, wife had and loves baked beans on toast. I had some beans from wife, good wife! We will definitely visit again, a real treat for us country folk visiting the big shops.

New furniture is so cramped together even though they are not meant to be with covid19. The furniture has been changed but it is absolutely ridiculous. For older and disabled people the furniture is NOT GOOD! I had to stay in my wheelchair as I can’t sit in a hard wooden chair because of my medical history. Mushrooms at this store were also wrinkled up and off but still sold with one egg and one slice of bacon for $19!! This store uses to be a great place to go to but it has gone way down. The menu is yuck and people can’t have a nice simple home cooked menu meal! I haven’t enjoyed a meal fully at any breakfast club since 2011 when they offered a warm thai salad. Too expensive, and furniture is a joke! We now go to the food court to eat. Cheaper, nicer and more comfortable in the food court. When is the coffee club going to listen that people are sick of paying too much for the same rubbish?!

The environment is great here. People are friendly abd recognise you being a regular. Coffee is ok. Food is ok. Can't complain being a cafe. Service is always good with a smile. I come here at lease 5 times a week. So it has got to be good.

Well it's been almost 4 years to the day since I last reviewed this place. It certainly has got a lot better. I have eaten here many times in the last 12 months and haven't had any negative experiences. Last visit was for a Sunday morning breakfast, and seeing a new menu I thought I'd try something new the spicy chicken avo eggs benedict. It was very nice! Coffee is also good, as is the service and the surroundings.

Had the pleasure of having breakfast at this Coffee Club recently with a large family group and was not disappointed. The service from the wait staff was excellent and they were very accommodating with letting us move tables around to keep the group together. The meals all came out relatively close together and everyone's order was as requested. The food was excellent with very generous servings and representing good value for money. I would happily come back here when next looking for a brekky venue on this side of town.
