The menu is typical for a bar, offering appetizers, sandwiches, fried foods, and more, but the patty melt exceeded my expectations. It was meaty, cheesy, gooey, and served hot. The fries were crispy and steaming, and the portion sizes were generous, leaving me feeling satisfied and happy. The service was friendly and attentive. The downsides: It’s a Patriots Bar (not a fan!), but honestly, the only significant downside I could mention is that the prices were a bit higher than I anticipated. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience dining in the back of the BLVD! The space was clean and well-maintained.
What a lovely (and packed) restaurant. Food was great and our waiter was very friendly and helpful. There is a large bar that is very crowded. Very few stands where you can stay away from others. There are outdoor seating, but it rained when we went and it is not covered. Tacos were really good, though we preferred Maistortillas. The groupers were fantastic. Korean steaks were also very good. Nachos are big and tasty. The children/not children's appetizer with corn dogs, Quesadilla, sliders and chicken fingers was the dream of a child. Garden salad was fresh and beautiful. House margaritas were surprisingly good. The chocolate thunder cake was the only not really good food we ordered. It was simple and very sweet. Parking was easy. It's high time.
Love it. Conveniently located on the mountain pleasant hospital. I had a Ruben, Cesar Salat and Mini-Maishunde. Everything was great, they made it fast. Netter Server. Beautiful atmosphere overall. Great prices! Would definitely go back.
While visiting my parents, they took me to Dog and Duck…and then took me again the following week. My dad said it was his go-to place for a beer and a burger. This is the perfect place to go if you’re looking to hang out with some friends and have some good food, drinks, and a relaxed time. The first time we went I got the Philly cheesesteak and upgraded my side to the Nashville hot fries (pictured below). Both were so so good and I could have eaten at least two more servings of the hot fries. The second time we went I got the fried clam rolls and onion rings. The fried clams were good, just slightly overdone. Both times we got the fried pickles as an app and they might be the best fried pickles I’ve ever had! Definite recommend (especially if you have friends visiting town).
