He had my gratitude. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Baked Beans, Gorky's Sauce, Smokin Ribs

Great little spot, friendly staff. Menu was perfect, not too overwhelming. Unfortunately, the pork, of all things, was awful. I got a “pulled pork” sandwich, the pork was not pulled.it was a pork chop cut into small cubes and the meat was very very tough. I know how to make pulled pork that melts in your mouth. If I go to restaurant, I expect them to be BETTER than me as they are professional cooks. With prices the way they are, $50 for 2ppl should yield a meal I would never be able to duplicate myself. Otherwise there’s really no motivation to come back My suggestion: save your money, get a snack on the way home, and cook your own pulled pork. To the owner: I know how it feels to spend your whole life perfecting something, only to hire someone that will never care about “it” like you do. This is an honest review. Your restaurant has tons of potential, but the food needs to be the foundation, or it’ll never work.
Gumbo was great, ribs were great too! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Soup, Pulled Pork, Smokin Ribs
I had pork ribs and chicken thigh. Pork was just so delicious, but the chicken was the best I ever had. I usually don’t order chicken as they are often dry, but this was so juicy and tender and skin was smoky. Waiter was very professional, and the service as good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
