San Miguel Mexican Grill

This is my second visit, and it was just as wonderful as the first! The food is exceptional. The street tacos are phenomenal—definitely a 6 out of 5! I highly recommend the Al Pastor tacos, as they came highly recommended by fellow diners. The skinny margaritas are perfect, and the San Miguel bowl was fantastic. The service is excellent as well. I'm really grateful to have this restaurant in Mount Pleasant!

As someone from Texas who craves genuine Mexican cuisine, I can confidently say that San Miguel's has always exceeded my expectations! The owner truly cares about the restaurant, his staff, and creating a welcoming dining atmosphere. You won't be let down. Keep up the fantastic work!

I would not recommend this place. I came in after an extremely long day to get take out after my other dinner option fell through. They were quick to take my order but apparently lost it because 30 minutes later,-still no food- when the woman who ordered take out after me(and a lot more of it) had already received her food and left! I say something and they then quickly bring my food out, it only partially cooked. Extremely disappointed and won’t be trying this restaurant again anytime soon.

I never received any cutlery, and the food reminded me of Taco Bell—not exactly impressive. Additionally, there were no drink refills offered. The restaurant was sweltering, with temperatures at least 85 degrees and no air conditioning. To top it all off, the noise level was unbearable; I've never experienced such loud surroundings in a restaurant before. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place for families. However, if you're a college student looking for a spot to get drunk, feel sweaty, and end up with a headache that surpasses any hangover, then this is the place for you!

We love San Miguel! The food is amazing and the staff is top notch. They really go out of their way to treat you like family and take care of you. The patio has a great atmosphere and is excellent for groups.
