Shaff's Tavern - Mount Savage

There's not much to say about our visit. We arrived a little later in the evening, so there were no food options available. The place is charming, and the staff are great, but the drink selection is quite limited. The atmosphere, however, is enjoyable.

Incredibly friendly atmosphere—almost unnervingly so! It felt like we were in a supernatural episode, about to meet a pagan god for dinner in an apple orchard, if you catch my drift. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case; the patrons, including a lively individual named Barney, were just exceptionally welcoming. I ordered the double Angus burger, which was a solid choice for a bar setting (3.5/5). My son tried the chicken sandwich and rated it quite highly (4.5/5). Finally, the fish sandwich was nearly perfect (4.5/5). Overall, this was one of the best experiences my sons and I had during our interesting journey across the east.

This is a fantastic restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food at great prices. I highly recommend visiting, especially for the amazing wings they serve on Wednesdays!

You'll have such a great time that you might not even remember half of it! HA!
