I decided to try their special Haddock dinner and it did not disappoint - it was absolutely delicious! I also ordered a specialty drink which was made perfectly to my liking. For dessert, I indulged in their tiramisu which was hands down the best I've ever had. Overall, this place is fantastic and I will definitely be returning soon.
While driving on the Swiss Federal Highway, we came across a cafe with a sign advertising a Lennie Gallant concert that evening. Being from Calgary, we had previously heard Lennie perform at our local folk music club and enjoyed his music. The cafe was closed when we passed by, but I decided to knock on the door. The very friendly manager, Pat, informed us that they were sold out for the evening, but he offered to contact me if any tickets became available. To our surprise, he went above and beyond by arranging for us to sit at the table of a lovely local family. It was a fantastic evening filled with amazing hospitality from the East Coast, delicious food, and a wonderful concert in a venue with special significance for Gallant and his band.
We have always regretted not driving there every year, but this time we bought tickets for a concert and decided to have dinner beforehand. We made sure to leave room for the homemade desserts they serve during the concert. We watched Madison Violet perform and will definitely be returning for more dining and entertainment. I highly recommend booking in advance for the bands you like or taking a chance, as I am certain you will not be disappointed.
Our bed and breakfast recommended us this place. we arrived at 18;45 clock and we sat with a smile. this place is guided by a man and a woman. the moskito mojito and it was fabulous, followed by the humus as...appetizer I had the curry huhn that was delicious and a huge portion that I could not finish. my friend had the hamburger she loved. Rhubarb crisis for dessert was perfect. the musician tonight was jenna barry, very talented with a great vote. next time I'm in pei, I'll go back there.
Classic east coast hospitality with very talented voices performing light entertainment. It was truly a great experience in a fun atmosphere. The brunch was very basic well prepared food served efficiently. There are 3 different breakfasts that are offered no fancy menu, great baked...beans, sausages, scrambled eggs and good coffee. The Hellfire Caesar was really good. Great east coast experience!
