A Papua New Guinea cafe? How odd, I thought. Wait... Isn't coffee PNG's "highest foreign exchange earner" (Wiki)? Makes perfect sense! In winter 2015 the cafe is beautiful, and the outdoor seating has an 'outdoor living' feel, especially on a warm winter's day. One outside patron made herself comfortable with a book, though personally I could not linger over my coffee. It was too good. C o f f e e t r a n c e good. I-want-another-one-right-now good, but I-won't-because-it-won't-be-as-good-as-the-first. I waited 20 minutes. Still wanted another one. Risking heart palpitations (I don't have a huge coffee habit), I ordered one. IT WAS AS GOOD AS THE FIRST. I couldn't credit the Bodalla fresian and jersey milk (although this didn't hurt). I had coffee with pure jersey milk in another caffe, and it was not so good./ the atmosphere was happy, the workers chat and laugh, their friend falls in, and a steady stream of customers who obviously traveled for the coffee, as there are few jobs around. they were all warmly welcomed. michael jackson songs, old and new, played on the audio system. there was a television, but I didn't notice if the michael was jackson, or other music videos, mutated. the walls were decorated with paintings from the province chimbu (for sale), including a few paradies. I was touched that the artist had made so much effort to paint the simple brown weeping as the spectacle (which is shown on the PNG flag). there was an air conditioning attached to the wall, suggesting that niugini arabica in summer could be as comfortable as it is in winter./ there was a glitzer in the service over a cookie, but I am not one who throws a tan over this type of thing. the biscuit turned out to be superficial. Maybe I'd be able to save enough coffee to be with it. there was not much on the way of food: roasted sandwiches, quiches, bananenbrot, biscuits and some bottled drinks. that's a coffee-seed. it is a can for niugini arabica coffee from the highland provinces, chimbu and perhaps more. they also sell packages of tee and crave cookies. I have an offer to buy a bottle bodalla milk, which should unfortunately be used the next day.Ouk (by lily uk eat food https is correct if he says in sydney I could not dream of it. if they wanted a nice, trendy breakfast, they either need to live in a hipster suburb or travel to one. here in canberra, regardless of where they live, they are probably not too far from a beautiful hipster café. we have stood by me in lyons, little oink in cook, common grounds in gowrie and now fox and bow in colorrer. so, good work canberra, always one on the big smoke except that niugini arabica is not a hipster cafe, it is just a good./ I must mention a special mention for the hot and icy beverage menu on the wall name and photos of different coffee, tees and chocolate drinks, with the amount of each program used. I wish all caffes had done it. / I never got the heartbeat.

There is a large playground and beautiful gum trees and space for children running right next to the caffe. perfect for mamas and fathers! Why did I not find it earlier! coffee is also good and the smiles are infectious. (or maybe this is just the happy children and coffee working in peace for me.

Great place for a coffee and a snack. the workers are very pleasant and know how to make a great coffee.
