County Line Inn - Mount Union

Had a quick bite to eat here tonight. Service was extremely slow and the food was mediocre at best. It took over a half hour to get two sandwiches and then another 10 minutes to get mayonnaise to put on one sandwich. My Reuben was dripping with grease.

8/23/19 Upside: large portions for a great price and the food is delicious. Downside: been there twice and both times the service was struggling. Nice ladies but they needed help. 9/13/19 Stopped in with wife. Service n wait improved and I am glad cause I luv this place. Waitress Yvonne was excellent. Cheese steak n buffalo chips great. Wife lived her bacon cheeseburger. Nice juicy fresh beef. We will be back.

Decided to go for a beautiful country drive yesterday. This place was recommended by a friend I work with. We were not disappointed by the food or service at all. The only thing we were disappointed by was that we were there at noon and the lunch menu does not start until 2. Found this odd, but okay. So, we rolled with it. We both ordered the Pesto turkey panini's which were delicious. I was hoping for fries but unfortunately they weren't cut yet. (They fresh cut their fries from my understanding) The drink menu was AMAZING. I had the Beach Bum and the hubs had the PB old fashioned. We both love old fashion's so I had to try his as well. I could not believe that someone could actually make a drink with the hint of peanut butter without messing it up! So cool! There is not proper road signage so you might pass this place by without a second thought. We were using GPS to get there. Oh and if you are an avid kayaker you can spend the day on the river and then relax and eat here. Oh and another wonderful thing about this gem? You won't go away penniless! Everything is affordable! Very clean.

This place isn't much to look at from the road (because of the renovations), but holy moly the food is rock solid (most is locally sourced). The view over the river was fantastic. The service spotless. Truly recommend the burgers and chicken cheese steak. And toe to toe their fries make Five Guys fries look sad.

Great outdoor area with excellent food! Ideal place to come for a few late afternoon drinks and snacks. A HUGE app menu with great choices. Meat is locally sourced and it's evident by the taste. We also went on Taco Tuesday and tried a shrimp taco and it was ... amazing.
