This is a really nice 7 Eleven. I'm from Stanwood and I like to visit Mt. Vernon occasionally. I like to get a fountain beverage with ice. Very clean and bright.

This morning about 1:30 AM, I went in looking for a snack. The person at the counter was really angry about something. Not sure what. But he had a real chip on his shoulder about something. The store was clean, well lit and overall, an attractive place to shop. Being a new store, it still looked like it was being settled in. Perfectly normal. But I was craving a pepperoni and cheese pizza. The guy behind the counter said the supply wasn't in yet. He wasn't yelling. But you can tell he was mad at somebody. Or something. I really felt uncomfortable. I was just looking for a snack. That's all. OK. We all have bad days. I get it. But we at least try to compartmentalize things in their right places and not let our private world affect us publicly. People really feel unwelcome when others trip out like that. I wish him absolutely no ill will and I hope his problem is solved. And I'll come back again. But maybe at a different time....
