Buckeye Philly Steaks - Mount Vernon

One of the best Philly Steaks I've ever had!! Will return.

I'm glad to see this new place in Mount Vernon! I thought I was going in and trying and was pleasantly surprised to see Gyro's on the menu. The one that was closed for Gyro's. When ordering the counter and was surprised to see the owner of the closed place my order. I didn't try Philly Steak because I was hungry for a gyro. It was perfect! They offer alcohol for those who want a beer or margarita. This place will be one of me for what I am hungry for. Try it, you won't be sorry!!

Nice to have Greek food back. Fast service. Good food. We had falafel lap, lamb gyro and child meal. Comfortable environment. 2 issues: Do not like polyfoam cups and wish they served veggies with hummus. Hummus was pretty good.

Great place! Steaks were great!!! Service was fantastic, will eat here again. Fed whole family. Hat Buckeye Philly Steaks with green paprika, onions, mushrooms and cheese. (You can get lettuce, tomato sauce. also on your sandwich). Sothe cup and bottle, bottle of beer (serves food-in). Sports bar atmosphere with quite large seating area.

Having lived in Philadelphia for 8 years, from time to time I crave a cheesesteak sandwich. Haven’t found any local that I like until now. This was good. It popped for me. Bread was chewy but not too dense. Meat was quality and generous. Cheese and other condiments were top notch. I’ll be back.
