Hucks - Mount Vernon

Had the best chicken tenders ever! The lady serving them was so friendly! Clean bathrooms and the convenience store had SO MANY awesome finds! This will definitely be on our stop list of places as we travel thru!!

The remodel is beautiful, and the addition of the dog park is awesome! Such a great idea and makes traveling with the pups much easier. We?ve stopped at this Huck?s on our way through town my whole life, and the staff has always been great, the facilities clean.

I am now on my second day of my 34 hour reset. The food is beyond delicious, the rotisserie chicken excellent. Plenty of parking and very quiet. The parking lot is clean and without smell. There is a walmart right off the back of the property and a Denny's across the street. Everyone is friendly and polite. I would recommend this place. Cheers and stay safe.

I stopped in for the night and was hoping (actually Praying) that even though it was about 9:30 at night, I'd be able to get some chicken livers. The last couple of times I've stopped, they didn't have any and I was told it was because of the supply chain issues. Needless to say, I've had their chicken livers several times and they are simply the BEST. So, I was disappointed to be offered gizzard instead (GROSS). To my happy disappointment, they had livers... but they were out for the night. Thankfully I'll be laying over anyway, so I was told they start making them around 9am. Guess where I'll be?? I was offered some catfish or garlic Buffalo tenders. I was hungry and bought some of both... and THANKFUL I did!! Both were delicious! The food is always delicious. Very clean, friendly and overall beautiful, neat place to stop. I'll definitely stop every time I'm in the area! Thank you!! *The only downfall... they take points from the Pilot Flying J app... but you can't earn any points on the app for purchases. THAT SUCKS

The manager was rude. There was trash bags in the gas lanes. Once again no receipt tape in the gas pumps. Avoid this hucks at all cost there are plenty of truck stops and gas stations in this town.
