For the first time, I found myself frustrated by the noise coming from Maggie's down the street. This place is a true bar—a no-nonsense spot with no pretensions. The locals are friendly, and the music is at a pleasantly reasonable volume. Carl is the standout bartender here—make sure to say hi!

This was a funny sports bar. Think it was $12-13 for a pint g&t and a bottle of budweiser, with just that dollop of homoeroticism you love to see from the clientele at such an establishment. 6/10
