Southside Diner - Mount Vernon

I was thoroughly impressed with my dining experience at Southside Diner. I ordered the hamlat, and it was simply outstanding. My son chose the double cheeseburger, which was equally fantastic. For dessert, we were amazed by the large portions! My son had the cherry cheesecake, while I opted for the peanut butter cake. The servings were so generous that we couldn't finish them. Our waitress was very attentive and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

What more can be said about Southside that hasn't already been mentioned? I enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner there, and each meal was exceptional! The meatloaf, hamloaf, and liver with onions were the best I've ever tasted, and their scalloped potatoes are absolutely delicious! I also loved the pistachio cake, and the staff treated me wonderfully every time I visited. They host a donation dinner for Hospice, where 100% of the proceeds and tips go directly to the cause. It's truly inspiring to see such a business and community come together to serve!

GREAT customer service (i believe our waitress was a young lady named Barbara), insanely fast food service and amazing selection of baked goods and candy! we live in PA but are in the area visiting family and will definitely make it a point to come back again!

We had a server named Shelley and she was absolutely amazing! The food was outstanding and the desserts were delicious! !
