Unfortunately, there is no wheelchair access. The sink was brightened up with artificial flowers but was still quite dirty, as was the floor. The coffee was quite good, but the food was terrible. The toasted sandwiches were okay, but the hot food looked like it was days old, with a stew or curry covered in a wrinkled film. Other items like pastries and lasagna looked tired. I opted for a salad due to concerns about the hot food. I chose the Caesar salad, but the eggs were rubbery and the iceberg lettuce was discolored. The mushroom salad had nice mushrooms but was ruined by a terrible sweet chili sauce. It's a shame because the location is great, right next to the movies. The elderly customers dining there deserve better.
This restaurant consistently delivers great food and service at affordable prices, with welcoming staff. I highly recommend dining and enjoying drinks here without any reservations.
I was hesitant at first when I entered the cafe because it looked old and cheap. However, the enticing smell of fresh coffee convinced me to stay. The staff member was warm and friendly, and informed me that all of the food is made in-house. I couldn't resist trying the chicken and vegetable quiche, which was absolutely delicious. Not to mention, the prices were very reasonable - I only paid $11 for a decaf cappuccino, a generous slice of quiche, and two side salads of my choice.
Great little cafe near the theatre. Very reasonable prices with lots of choice and far more friendly than the big places on the main strip in Blackburn Rd. We often have light lunch there and plan on doing breakfast tomorrow. Nice and clean and the people are extremely friendly, nothing is a bother.
We had coffee here before we went to a movie next door. The coffee was very good. They have cake and light meals to eat in or take away as well.
