Good food that hits the spot. I went for the Hawaiian burger on the recommendation of the nice lady at the counter. With ham grilled pineapple it was exactly what I expected. Nothing more nothing less. So juicy and sweet that I ate the whole thing before I knew it. Excellent fry sauce to finish off the basket and I left full and entirely satisfied.I hope to be back soon.
Loved the old time atmosphere and I had great burger!
Hamburgers were huge and freshly prepared to order. Jacquee had the Mushroom-Swiss burger, which had one pattie and fresh veggies. It was accompanied by fresh and hot french fries. I had a 1/4 double cheese burger, which had 2 patties and lots of veggies. The staff was friendly and anxious to please. They had oldies from a U Tube channel playing from ceiling speakers to atmosphere, but it was at a bit too high a volume for my taste. The menu was quite extensive and included breakfast and dinner options. (I hope a was able to show enough of it in my photos)
We use to love Frankie's burgers. We had dozens of date nights there when my wife and I first got married. However, it seems like as the weeks went by, the food because worse and worse quality. The first time I was served with cold fries, I figured it sometimes just happens especially after so many visits, but once that became more of a regular thing even as the food became more expensive, it became more repelling. Then, on our date night one night with our kid, instead of listening to old classic rock, we got to listen to the chefs inappropriate rap playing extreamly loudly in the kitchen. That's when we decided it was our very last date night there. Sorry to see it happen.
