Ludwigs Biergarten Mountain View

We came here for happy hour and tried the Cheese Croquettes which were a big disappointment, no flavor which so ever and the table service is mediocre.

I've visited Ludwigs twice now. Both times, the staff have been prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food is tasty and filling. It is pleasantly obvious that some of the food items are homemade. The restaurant as a whole is clean. I gave the atmosphere rating four stars only because I am not used to being at a German restaurant that plays easy listening music. Overall, I really like Ludwigs and recommend paying a visit. Don't forget to bring your appetite.Vegetarian options: Ludwigs offers more vegetarian and vegan options than most other German restaurants.Parking: There is a public parking lot at the rear of the rear of the restaurant.

Nice place, terrible service and food. Jagerschnitzel did not match the menu, they brought out fried chicken with mashed potatoes. Orders kept not going through, half the table had food and drinks the others had to be asked about some time later. Quality just doesn't match the wait times, or hassle dealing with the staff.

Good German bites basic or hearty. Good beer on tap selection. Glad to see 2 ciders and sours on there. Please dont cut them in the future. Schnitzel was freshly fried and flavorful. The rice noodles on the side was pleasantly filling too. Beer cheese dip is a must for the pretzel, though the pretzel was a bit dry... the salt sprinkle on top is not salt but breadcrumbs?? Odd. Sausage was oozy and superb.Beer Flight is houses choice, no subs. Kinda expensive for the tiny portions but it's a good sampler of different drafts.

They have an awesome ambience with good service.The menu could be better, but whatever they have is pretty good. We tried chicken and pork sausage and it was good. Chicken Jägerschnitzel was great.Wine selections were limited, but J Lohr red blend was great.
