Not only that, he called his Dad to help me and they got me back up and running. It’s nice to know there’s great young people out there. Thanks Connor and Connor’s Dad!
I spent $175 on fuel but was unable to use the restroom because it was closed. Seriously? I had intended to purchase something inside, but the line was so long. This location really needs some improvements.
I ended up trying three pieces, and they tasted fine, but about 45 minutes later, I found myself violently ill on I-80—definitely just gas station sushi. I know it’s ultimately my own fault, but I can't help feeling disappointed, especially since my detour made me late to watch the sunset over the hot springs in Utah. I know this review is longer than necessary, but I really want to warn others about gas station sushi. Learn from my experience—don't let those crab cravings take control!
Who doesn't enjoy a great Maverik? The Adventure Club is fantastic, and even without the Nitro card, getting 2¢ off per gallon is a solid deal. Plus, the points really accumulate for some worthwhile rewards. This specific Maverik tends to get crowded in the summer with boats and campers, but it doesn't stay busy for long.
The nitro card is great, don't have to go into the store and you get 10 cents off per gallon
