The previous companies retired over the winter of 2017/2018 and sold the Posto to a young team who had changed almost everything to the previous reviews here: this is now called The Sailor 's Bar and wants to be a kind of high-quality hipster bar (quote of new boss and equal prices). The previous, unique hippie esque Atmosphere has been replaced by a rather ingenious, modern cool outfit that you find in zig other bars. The so far seemingly huge cocktail selection was evaporated to about 10 12 standard drinks, which start at EUR 8. For this, there is a relatively large selection of other beverages and beers, but everything more in the high-priced segment. The supposedly good homemade food has been deleted (I think you can still get ham cheese toast, which so far is supposed to be fabulous breakfast now consists of toast, coffee and orange juice. But that's all OK and not criticism, because it's the strategic decision of the new operators (even if I didn't see the high own quality standards of the new operators so far, and we only knew through the Google reviews of the earlier atmosphere (even if we were looking forward to the exact ones). the daily change of bed linen was not necessary, but since all rooms are directly above the bar, you can hear the loud music (Youtube Playlists of the brand Tropcial Relax Music until the last note (and this was at times 3:40 in the morning, although there were only more 1 or 2 guests present for a long time, but the acoustic mess with the music of the neighboring bars already ends well 3 hours... If you are able to sleep with closed windows and unscrewed air conditioning with earplugs, it is clearly advantageous here. For all other or even families with smaller children, this accommodation is probably a No Go Zone...besides the long bar nights: breakfast is not available before 9 a.m. With Crete with its size, we would have liked to have breakfast at least sometimes between 7 and 8 so that we can still reach the distant destinations, but this was unfortunately not possible. In our 20sqm room, which we had fortunately only two, stood and write 5(! Beds and a single box without any storage compartments. We used the countless beds as a deposit, much you don't have in Crete. But I honestly can't imagine how to stop your holiday, this room should ever be occupied with 5 people and the noise level. The young bar team is friendly and halfway engaged, but can't compensate for the problems of the new strategy. Furthermore of course unbeatable: the view from the bar!

3,50 euro the coffee for take away out of season in autumn. If I ordered in the cafeteria, I would pay the same price. Sorry, but in almost every cafeterias in Greece there is another price for staying in the store and another for take away.
