Panera Bread - Mt Vernon

I definitely recommend doing a order online and picking up in store. It?s quick and easy and normally takes less than 6 minutes. Not much parking if the hotel parking lot is full. Drive thru available.

I was served a salad that was clearly past its prime, with damp, wilted, dark green lettuce that was quite unappetizing. I returned it expecting a prompt apology and a fresh replacement, but instead, the server (a girl with long blonde hair in a ponytail, wearing a hat and Bluetooth headphones) simply responded with a nonchalant "ok," stating that it was the only salad available at the moment. Her lack of concern and dismissive attitude made it seem like my complaint was a bother to her.

We always rely on Panera Bread when traveling. It's great to have a quick, healthy, and fresh option. The broccoli and cheese soup was perfect for a cold day. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. Despite being busy during lunch, they managed to keep the flow of customers moving smoothly and efficiently. Definitely deserves 5 stars!

The restaurant has a great variety of desserts to choose from. The staff member who took our order was pleasant. I would have given it 5 stars, but when I asked for a recommendation, I was not given any suggestions.

Usually good experiences at this location but the other day my sandwich was poorly put together, didn?t slice my bagel like I requested and didn?t give me the cream cheese I paid for. Gave it another shot and got a salad and the lettuce was bad.
