Wings Express - Mt Vernon

I've always ordered from Grubhub, and the food has always been excellent! This time, I visited the restaurant in person, located inside Retro 520. The service and staff were just as impressive as the food—AMAZING! The place has a charming old-school diner vibe and top-notch quality! We tried the burgers, milkshakes, and wings, and were not disappointed at all! A huge thank you to Rhonda and the entire staff for making us feel so welcome on our first visit! I can't wait to come back. I've already told my friends and family about our experience, and they're excited to come by too!

I was very disappointed! The wings were a decent size and cooked well, but they lacked flavor. The teriyaki sauce wasn't impressive, and the regular BBQ sauce was weak. I also ordered the Mac and Cheese grilled cheese, and it was a letdown. While the bread was nicely buttered and toasted, the mac and cheese seemed spoiled.

I had a terrible experience with the wings here. They were incredibly dry and almost impossible to eat. While the hot Buffalo sauce was tasty, I wouldn't recommend the wings at all. As for the curly fries, they were hard as rocks and completely inedible.

Yet again... another spot that I find that is a gem and doesn’t receive enough credit.I was craving wings yesterday and we decided to order some through Uber eats. I can’t rate them on anything other than wings cause we didn’t even get sides, JUST WINGS and more WINGS.They were THE BEST wings I have had.So delicious, yet so fresh!!! You could really tell they are not one of those big chains that get you a plate of previously frozen wings sent out to you... Oh myyyyyyyyy!!!!!!I liked them so much that I want to order more Today in a different sauce, cause they were really the best wings I’ve had at ANY restaurant!!!Wish them well, recognition among everything else and hope they rise and do better and better so people can trust my word. HA HA!100% recommended!!!!
