Michel's Pastisserie

Have not been back over eight months so checked it out in the morning. Arrived early 6:45am and love to see that it has opened for trade.While I was deciding of what to go with my flat white, my gaze stopped at those scones sitting on the counter so gave it a go.Took a seat at the corner to enjoy my brekkie. Well, coffee and scone were both perfectly prepared. If I can have a free hand to get rid of the flies’ attacks, it will be perfect!Previous rating: June 2019 4/5; Nov 2018 4/5

Stopped in quickly as they had a $7.95 deal for bacon and egg roll and small coffee. Was great value for the size and taste. Lots of delicious looking sweets in the window but didn’t try any.

Driving to Redlands the other day happened to notice a new shopping village on the corner of Bryants Redlands Bay Rd. Drove in saw Michels actually one of the largest of the franchise's I have seen, quite impressive actually! There was an outdoor seating area as well as inside. Great variety of sweets to choose from as always this is what draws me to these franchise's! Decided to have cake of the day with my flat white. Cake was raspberry pear , a dense delicious concoction which tasted like it had ground almonds in it. The raspberry finished it off as it cut through the sweetness with with the sour tang. Was a taste sensation. Coffee was double shot but had a hint of bitterness unfortunately, nicely presented though

My partner and I stopped by Michel's Patisserie Saturday afternoon. We were served by the loveliest young lady, who was all smiles and great service. My partner ordered the salt and pepper squid, while I had a cappuccino and the butterscotch cheesecake. The coffee came or super fast and the food wasn't too far behind. We both enjoyed our meals and will be back again to try some more treats.
