Cafe Sander is one of the oldest cafe 's in Mülheim a.d.R. Since 1714 established as a baker, from the 4th generation conditor. The speciality of the house is still the tree cake according to the original recipes of the Sander family. 1868 Opening of the 1st cafe 's at the carbon camp, for more than 250 years in family ownership, today still convinces quality, reliability, excellent hand and craftsmanship. From breakfast to lunch table, from rolls to magnificent cakes, all to take away or to enjoy on site. The cafe was awarded several times as one of the best cafe 's in Germany Gourmet magazine Gourmet . The ambience and the audience affects something that I personally love, find remarkable, because this is how the cafe gets its credibility, its charm and a well-being place for people who grew up, become old and are open to experiencing time history

The cakes and the pastries make me once and for all just a top quality. I'm glad the confectionery opened again.

When you visit Mülheim we go to Café Sander. The cake is the hammer. Not too sweet, very tasty. Another real trationsel café. Definitely worth a visit.
